The International Centre for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS), which includes the H.E.J. Research Institute of Chemistry and the Dr. Panjwani Centre for Molecular and Drug Research in Karachi, Pakistan, has partnered with TWAS to provide fellowships to aspiring scientists from developing nations (excluding Pakistan). These fellowships aim to support their research endeavors in the fields of chemical and biological sciences as they pursue a PhD degree.
Prospective applicants are strongly encouraged to seek a preliminary acceptance letter well in advance, even prior to the official call for applications. It is important to note that only acceptance letters issued within the same year as the application year will be considered valid. To obtain an acceptance letter, applicants need to submit a two-page curriculum vitae (CV), a copy of their most recent degree, and a minimum of two recommendation letters, with a preference for one from their current supervisor.
TWAS-ICCBS Postgraduate Fellowships are available at the International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS) – which includes the H.E.J. Research Institute of Chemistry and the Dr. Panjwani Center for Molecular and Drug Research – for individuals pursuing a PhD degree in the following disciplines: organic chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, molecular medicine, pharmacology, physical chemistry, or analytical chemistry.
TWAS-ICCBS Postgraduate Fellowship Program 2023 for International Students. is available to undertake Postgraduate, Fellowship level programs at The World Academy of Science (TWAS).
