Scholarship Description:

Uclan Asia Pacific Institute Scholarship is open for International Students . The scholarship allows level programm(s) in the field of Asia Pacific Studies, North Korean Studies taught at University of Central Lancashire(UCLAN) . The deadline of the scholarship is expired at 16 Feb 2020.

Degree Level:

Uclan Asia Pacific Institute Scholarship is available to undertake level programs at University of Central Lancashire(UCLAN).

Available Subjects:

Following subject are available to study under this scholarship program.

  • Asia Pacific Studies
  • North Korean Studies
  • Masters North Korean Studies
  • Masters Asia Pacific Studies

Scholarship Benefits:

The successful applicants will receive partial tuition fee waiver. The scholarship is open to any nationality. There are six scholarships, each worth £ 3,450.

Eligible Nationalities:

students from any nationality are eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria:

Application requirements are as under:

  • A proposal for MA dissertation (500 words)
  • A confirmed place on either MA Asia Pacific Studies or MA North Korean Studies at the time of scholarship application
  • A good undergraduate academic performance (minimum 2:1) in any subject

Those who do not have their BA classification yet should provide their final grade upon graduation.

Applications can be made in advance of results but any award will be conditional on the above requirements being met. Please note that this is a competitive scholarship.

Application Procedure:

To apply, please send an email including the confirmation receipt of your place in the course, your 500-word proposal for the MA dissertation and the name of at least one referee, to Dr Sojin Lim (SLim4@uclan.ac.uk). The title of the email should be “[MA Scholarship] APS/NKS (delete as appropriate) your full name”.
