The UN Young Professionals Programme (YPP) is an excellent opportunity for talented, highly qualified professional youngsters who want to start their career as an international civil servant with the UN Secretariat. It consists of an entrance examination process and professional development once those successful start their career with the UN. The YPP examination is held once a year in different subject areas, depending on the needs of the UN.YPP is open to nationals of participating countries. Following subject are available to study under this scholarship program.
Candidates who pass the YPP examination will be offered a two-year fixed-term contract at the start of their professional career with the UN. After two years, they will be granted a continuing contract, subject to satisfactory performance.
