Scholarship Description:

University of Adelaide Global Academic Excellence Scholarships Australia is open for International Students . The scholarship allows Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Bachelor, Masters, Diploma level programm(s) in the field of All Subjects with the exception for some courses taught at University of Adelaide . The deadline of the scholarship is expired at 14 Jun 2020.

The University of Adelaide is offering Global Academic Excellence Scholarship for students commencing their studies in any discipline. These scholarships are open to citizens of any country (except Australia and New Zealand).


This scholarship is a highly competitive award that rewards commencing undergraduate and postgraduate coursework international students who have demonstrated academic excellence in previous studies.


Entrance Requirements: Applicants must meet the following criteria:
• The selection process for The 2019 University of Adelaide Global Academic Excellence Scholarships is competitive, with academic achievement forming the main basis for scholarship selection. As a general guide, the University of Adelaide will consider applicants who have achieved an academic level on par with the following:
• For undergraduate programs: Raw ATAR of 98 OR its equivalent
• For postgraduate coursework programs: A GPA 6.8 out of 7 OR its equivalent


Note: Scholarship applicants who are eligible for more than one scholarship offered by the University of Adelaide will only be entitled to receive one scholarship (the highest value scholarship award that they are eligible for)


Exclusions


The following applicants are not eligible to receive these scholarships:
• Current University of Adelaide students who are transferring from one program to another prior to successful completion of their program of study (internal transfers);
• Students who are recipients of a scholarship covering tuition fees awarded by a recognized scholarship awarding body such as a government ministry or department;
• Applicants for Masters by Research or PhD programs.
• Applicants for certain programs; see the scholarship terms and conditions for a list of excluded degrees.


Application Procedure:


• Applicants who meet the academic criteria will be automatically offered this scholarship once their coursework application has been processed
• Scholarship selection is based on academic merit
• Successful applicants will be notified within 1 to 2 weeks of the scholarship closing date; unsuccessful applicants will NOT be contacted.

University of Adelaide Global Academic Excellence Scholarships Australia is available to undertake Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Bachelor, Masters, Diploma level programs at University of Adelaide.

Available Subjects:

Following subject are available to study under this scholarship program.

  • All Subjects

• Professions: Master of Business Administration (MBA).
• Engineering, Computer and Mathematical Sciences: Master of Marine Engineering; Graduate Diploma of Marine Engineering; Graduate Certificate of Marine Engineering.
• Sciences: Bachelor of Science (Veterinary Bioscience); Master of Viticulture and Oenology; Graduate Diploma of Viticulture and Oenology; Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.
• Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences: The 50% scholarship will apply only to the following programs:

– Bachelor of Health & Medical Science
– Bachelor of Health & Medical Science (Advanced)
– Bachelor of Psychological Science
– Bachelor of Psychology (Advanced) (Honours)
– Master of Public Health (suite GC and GD)
– Master of Health Economics & Policy (suite GC and GD)
– Master of Nursing Science (General).

Scholarship Benefits:

Each Faculty will award two only scholarships of a 50% reduction of the tuition fee to the applicant in their faculty with the highest score above an ATAR of 98 or GPA of 6.8.

Eligible Nationalities:

This scholarship is open to citizens of any country (except Australia and New Zealand).

  • Available for students commencing in 2020 only;
  • Available for commencing direct-entry international undergraduate and postgraduate coursework students, including those who are required to undertake a Pre-Enrolment English Program (PEP) prior to their degree commencement;
  • Open to citizens of any country (except Australia and New Zealand);
  • Available for study in any discipline.

For students who wish to commence studies in Semester 1 2020, all applications to study with the University must be submitted by 5 January 2020. Students eligible for the scholarships will be assessed on academic merit and will automatically be offered this scholarship by 17 January 2020 (first half 2020).

For students who wish to commence studies in Semester 2 2020, all applications to study with the University must be submitted by 14 June 2020. Applicants will be automatically offered this scholarship by 26 June 2020 (second half 2020).
