University of Birmingham / Bellerbys Outstanding Achievement Scholarships in England 2022/2023

Scholarship Description:

The University of Birmingham has teamed up with Bellerbys Colleges to provide Bellerbys Outstanding Achievement Scholarships for academic high achievers. In order to apply for this scholarship, a student must have an excellent academic background.

The awards will be allocated on the basis of excellent academic achievement, excellent college attendance, and personal statement.

If a scholar is accepting the award, he/she will have to agree to support the collaboration between the University and Colleges by being helpful to the future students, staying available for testimonials, and engaging in other blogging or vlogging activities.

Degree Level:

University of Birmingham / Bellerbys Outstanding Achievement Scholarships in England 2022/2023 is available to undertake Undergraduate level programs at University of Birmingham.

Scholarship Benefits:

The University of Birmingham is pleased to announce one scholarship award of £2,500 for a student applying for entry to an undergraduate program at the University starting September 2022 and who is currently studying at any Bellerbys College.

These are joint awards with our partner Bellerbys College and will be awarded to the highest performing academic and attendance students starting their University of Birmingham programme in 2022/23 and will be deducted from the first year tuition fees only.

Eligibility Criteria:

In order to be eligible, candidates must:

• Have received an offer and selected the University of Birmingham for a full time undergraduate programme starting September 2022. The student must be entering the first year of an undergraduate programme based at Birmingham’s UK campus.
• Meet the academic conditions of their offer to the programme.
• Be studying at a Bellerbys College.
• Be classed by the University as an overseas fee payer for tuition fee purposes and be able to pay the outstanding tuition fees not covered by the scholarship.
• Have sufficient funds to cover the full cost of living at the University of Birmingham, plus any visa/travel expenses associated with studying in the UK.
• Start their studies at the University in September 2022 (the scholarship award cannot be deferred).
• Accept an offer from (i.e. gone ‘firm’ with) the University of Birmingham by 27 May 2022.
• Upon enrolment in September 2022, pay their net tuition fees for the first year by 1 November, immediately following enrolment.

Please note that students already registered and studying on a programme at the University of Birmingham in the UK, and students applying for MBChB Medicine and Surgery or BDS Dental Surgery are not eligible for this scholarship.

Application Procedure:

Your Higher Education Officer from your college will be in touch via email to all offer holders for the University of Birmingham and you can apply through them. 
However, if you would like to apply now for the scholarship you can complete the attached application form and send it through to ukirecruitment@contacts.bham.ac.uk. However you choose to apply the deadline is on 27 May 2022. 
The Belllerbys scholarship is only eligible for study at our UK campus.

The full scholarship will be awarded upon enrolment on studies in September 2022.
