Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Hold an excellent master’s degree in Economics, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Management, or a related field.
• Possess strong analytical skills and a deep interest in topics such as:

1. Economics of the digital economy
2. Digital markets and platforms
3. Metaverse technologies

• Demonstrate the ability to work independently and collaboratively in an international research team.
• Have excellent spoken and written English skills. (Knowledge of German is not required.)
• Note: Candidates completing their master’s thesis may apply for a preliminary part-time position (0.5 FTE) under pay grade E12 TV-L.
