Scholarship Description:

UWC (United World Colleges) Scholarship oppurtunities for Zambian is open for Zambian Students only. The scholarship allows Masters, PhD, Undergraduate level program(s) in the field of All Subjects taught at Selected Universities. The deadline of the scholarship is expired at 29 Feb 2020.

Over 7,500 students from over 140 countries are selected to attend UWCs each year. And more than 50,000 students from more than 180 countries have studied at UWC schools, colleges and programmes through National Committee selections. In Zambia, an average of 4 - 6 students are selected every year.

Scholarship Benefits:

The scholarship will cover tuition, food and boarding fees, and most textbooks for the student during their time at the institution.

IT DOES NOT COVER:

• Air tickets from Zambia to the country.
• Travel cost during long winter and summer breaks.
• Pocket money.
• Visa application.
• Medical insurance and medical examinations.
• Graduation fee (applicable only to certain countries).
• Room deposit (usually refundable, some colleges only).
• Miscellaneous other expenses.

Partial Scholarships and Fee-Paying Places

Partial scholarships are offered first on the quality of the candidate then on their ability to pay. Please note: being able to afford a full fee-paying place does not guarantee entry to UWC.

Only Zambian students

Eligibility Criteria:

You must meet the criteria to be eligible for a UWC scholarship. Check them out below:

• 16 – 19 years old (must be a maximum of 19 years old as of 1st September, 2020).
• Must be a Zambian citizen.
• Must have completed Grade 12. 
• Academic requirements (ECZ Curriculum and GCSE: 6 – 10 points, IGSCE: B+ Average).
• Participation in community projects and extracurricular activities is a plus
