The Beit Trust Postgraduate Scholarships 2026 offer an excellent opportunity for talented students from Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Malawi to pursue a fully funded Master’s degree at prestigious universities in the United Kingdom and South Africa. Managed by the Beit Trust Foundation, this scholarship aims to develop future leaders who will contribute to their home countries’ economic and social progress.

Degree Level
- The Beit Trust Scholarships are available for postgraduate study (Master’s programs only).
- PhD funding is not offered except in exceptional cases for Beit Scholars of outstanding merit.

Note: MBA programs are not eligible for funding.
Benefits
The Beit Trust Scholarship is fully funded, covering:
- Full tuition and academic fees (paid directly to the university)
- Living allowance
- UK visa, health surcharge, TB test, and biometric costs
- Arrival, laptop, and departure allowances
- Economy-class return airfare to and from the study destination
Note: The scholarship does not cover dependents or spouses.
Eligible Nationalities
Applicants must be nationals and permanent residents of Zambia, Zimbabwe, or Malawi. They should currently live in one of these countries and must commit to returning home after completing their studies.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Beit Trust Scholarship 2026, applicants must:
- Hold an Honours degree (First or Upper Second Class) or equivalent.
- Have not yet begun a postgraduate course at the time of application.
- Preferably possess at least three years of professional experience in their chosen field.
- Demonstrate leadership potential and commitment to community or national development.
- Intend to return to their home country upon completion of studies.
- Apply to one or more Partner Universities of the Beit Trust.
Medical and Veterinary applicants must have completed:
- 18 months of internship
- At least one year of in-country posting (preferably rural experience)
Application Procedure
1. Apply to Beit Partner Universities
- For UK: Apply directly to partner universities and secure an offer before applying to Beit Trust.
- For South Africa: You can apply without a confirmed offer but must provide a list of intended courses and universities.
2. Prepare Required Documents
- Degree certificates and transcripts
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Personal Statement (max 300 words)
- Valid passport copy
- Recent clear photograph Three References: Academic, Character, and Employer (if applicable)
3. Submit Online Application
- Apply via the official Beit Trust online portal.
- Applications close on 13 February 2026 (17:00 CAT).
4. Interview Process
- Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed in Lusaka, Harare, and Blantyre during April 2026.
