Beijing Foreign Studies University Stipend Scholarships 2027 in China

Applications are now open for the Beijing Government Scholarship 2027 at Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) for international students. The scholarship supports outstanding non-Chinese students pursuing undergraduate, master's, doctoral, foundation, exchange, and selected non-degree programmes in Beijing, China.


The scholarship is offered under three funding categories. While Category A provides comprehensive financial support, most newly admitted undergraduate, master's, and non-degree students are generally considered for Category C, which mainly covers tuition fees and medical insurance.


Students interested in studying in China for the Spring 2027 intake must submit their applications before the official deadline.

Benefits

The Beijing Government Scholarship is offered in three categories.

Category A

  • Full tuition waiver
  • Free accommodation or accommodation allowance
  • Monthly living stipend
  • Comprehensive medical insurance

Monthly stipend:

  • Bachelor's students: RMB 2,500 per month
  • Master's students: RMB 3,000 per month
  • Doctoral students: RMB 3,500 per month

Accommodation support:

  • RMB 700 per month (Undergraduate and Master's)
  • RMB 1,000 per month (Doctoral)

Medical insurance worth RMB 800 is also included.

Most newly admitted undergraduate, master's, and non-degree applicants are normally awarded Category C.

Eligible Nationalities

The scholarship is open to all international applicants except Chinese citizens.
