If you're a person who's always on TikTok or Instagram and loves following social media trends, this is the internship for you! We're looking for someone to come help us define our social media voice and create GenZ-relevant content for our social channels. This role will learn about and assist in campaign management with a focus on Social Media, digital channels, and influencer marketing. The Brand Social Media Channels are key to communicating with the consumer WHERE THEY ARE. This role is key for cultural communication for the brand. As Samsung has multiple products and lines of business, there is a lot of collaboration and calendar management involved for smooth and efficient planning. This person will be very organized and collaborative. This intern will help support strategy for both Social-First Campaigns, and Integrated Campaigns as part of larger, Brand-Level marketing priorities. The role will work directly with the Integrated Marketing Team while navigating Stakeholder management and Agency relations to achieve Social Media goals + objectives. We're looking for someone passionate about social media and interested in content creation.
Your Key Responsibilities
• Help with content capture for social media creative
• Follow social media trends to inform strategy; conduct social monitoring to respond in real-time to trends and popular moments
• Support cross-platform community management and engagement
• Help strategize creative concepts and execution on social channels
• Work with Social Media managers to support reporting and KPI analysis
• Bring your voice and ideas to help redefine how Samsung communicates with GenZ
Your Qualification Profile
• Enrolled in an accredited 4-year college program majoring in Marketing, Communications, or related field
• Interest in social media marketing and knowledge about social media platforms
• Understanding of social media focused on Gen Z audience
• An interest in and broad knowledge of culture and key cultural moments
• Light experience in social media content creation
• Interest in community management
