Entry Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• A fourth year of psychology study from an APAC-accredited course, achieving at least a distinction (70%) average.
• Qualifications should have been completed within the last 10 years.
• International qualifications must be validated by the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
• Evidence of suitability for work as a professional psychologist is required, including a supplementary form, satisfactory referee reports, relevant work experience, and an interview.

English language proficiency can be demonstrated through one of the following:

• TOEFL iBT: Minimum score of 98
• PTE Academic: Minimum score of 65
• IELTS: Minimum score of 7

Career Prospects

Graduates of the program are well-equipped to embark on various career paths within psychology. They will have the credentials necessary for registration as psychologists with the Psychology Board of Australia (PBA) and can seek membership with the College of Educational and Developmental Psychologists of the Australian Psychological Society. Additionally, students will engage in a research thesis, fostering an evidence-based approach to psychology through scientific investigations relevant to the field.

Upon completion, international students may also be eligible for a post-study work permit in Australia, enabling them to gain valuable practical experience in their area of expertise.
