The Master of Science (MS) in Environmental Conservation at the University of Wisconsin–Madison is designed to equip students with the skills necessary to lead effective conservation efforts. Entry requirements

• Academic background: A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution or a comparable international degree.
• Minimum GPA: A GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale, or equivalent.
• English proficiency: Required for non-native speakers or those whose undergraduate instruction was not in English. Accepted tests include the Duolingo English Test, TOEFL iBT, or IELTS.
• Professional materials: Submission of a resume/CV and a statement of interest outlining reasons for pursuing graduate study.
• Recommendations: Two letters of professional recommendation, ideally one from a current or former employer and another from a former university advisor.
• Transcripts: Electronic submission of undergraduate transcripts.
