Entry requirements

To be eligible for the MA Illustration program, applicants should have:

  • A minimum of a UK 2:2 (Lower Second Class) honours bachelor’s degree, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated readiness for postgraduate study in illustration, art, design, or a related discipline.

In addition, international students must meet English language requirements, which include:

  • IELTS Academic: 6.5 overall (with no less than 5.5 in each component, where required by the University).
  • TOEFL iBT: 88 overall.
  • PTE Academic: 70 overall.

Applicants are also required to submit a portfolio of work showcasing their illustration and/or related creative practices, along with an interview.
