Merit Scholarship-I:
- Eligibility: Aggregate marks above 95% in 10+2
- Awarded to top 50 students across all branches based on JEE Main AIR
- Benefit: 100% Tuition Fee and Development Fee waiver
- Continuation: Minimum CGPA 8.50 with no backlog
Merit Scholarship-II:
- Eligibility: Aggregate marks above 90% in 10+2
- Awarded to next 60 students across all branches
- Benefit: 100% Tuition Fee waiver
- Continuation: Minimum CGPA 8.50 with no backlog
Merit Scholarship-III:
- Eligibility: Aggregate marks above 85% in 10+2
- Awarded to top 10% of admitted students in each discipline
- Benefit: 50% Tuition Fee waiver

Merit Scholarship-IV (Biotechnology and Biomedical Engineering):
- Eligibility: Based on PCB marks at 10+2 level

Lateral Entry Scholarships (for diploma holders entering 2nd year):
- Eligibility: Aggregate marks above 60% at diploma level
- Benefit: 25% to 50% Tuition Fee waiver
- Continuation: Minimum CGPA 8.50 and no backlog
Merit-cum-Means (MCM) Scholarships – BE/BTech
TIET offers Merit-cum-Means scholarships for students demonstrating financial need and satisfactory academic performance.
Eligibility and Benefits:
- Family income must not exceed ₹10 lakh per annum
- Awarded based on ascending order of family income
- In case of a tie, preference is given to girl students from families with no male child
Types of MCM Scholarships:
- Merit-cum-Means (Normal): Full Tuition Fee and Development Fee waiver
- Merit-cum-Means (Special): Full Tuition Fee and Development Fee waiver for deserving cases not covered under the normal category
- Merit-cum-Means (Lateral Entry): For diploma holders with at least 70% marks and family income ≤ ₹10 lakh
Continuation Criteria:
- CGPA ≥ 7.50 and no backlog in the year of consideration
Postgraduate Scholarships
ME/MTech Students
- Candidates with a valid GATE score receive scholarships approved by AICTE or other funding agencies.
- TIET provides additional support as follows:
- ₹5,000 per month for students already receiving AICTE funding
- ₹12,400 per month for GATE-qualified students not covered by AICTE
- ₹10,000 per month for non-GATE students for 10 months per academic year
- Continuation requires a minimum CGPA of 8.00 and no backlog.
MSc Students
- Students with more than 75% marks in graduation receive a 50% Tuition Fee waiver.
- Students with 65–75% marks receive a 30% Tuition Fee waiver.
- Minimum CGPA for continuation: 8.50, with no backlog.
MA Students
- Students with more than 75% marks in graduation receive a 50% Tuition Fee waiver.
- Students with 65–75% marks receive a 30% Tuition Fee waiver.
- Minimum CGPA for continuation: 8.50, with no backlog.
MCA Students
- The top 10% of students in each academic year, based on CGPA, are awarded ₹40,000 per annum.
- Students must maintain AGPA ≥ 8.0 with no backlog.
