About this course

This Specialization guides learners from basic 3D modeling to advanced Blender animation, rendering, and automation, building professional 3D skills for beginners and experienced creators. The first course introduces Blender’s interface, navigation system, modeling workflows, and procedural design capabilities. Learners work with meshes, modifiers, sculpting tools, primitives, and Geometry Nodes to create and optimize detailed 3D assets while developing an understanding of Blender’s core logic and workspace organization. The second course focuses on visual development through materials, textures, lighting, and rendering. Learners configure realistic surfaces, improve scene atmosphere with lighting techniques, and prepare scenes for export and final presentation. The final course advances into animation, rigging, simulation, compositing, motion tracking, video editing, linked data management, and Python scripting for automation. Together, the courses build a cohesive end-to-end workflow for creating, refining, and producing animated 3D projects in Blender. This Specialization is based on the book, Blender All-in-One For Dummies, by Jason van Gumster.
