Strategic Management

About this course

This Specialization guides learners through the full spectrum of strategic management. The first course lays the foundation by exploring direction, purpose, sustainability, stakeholders, corporate governance, competitive rivalry, and emerging technologies. The second course builds analytical capabilities with industry, customer, resource, capability, and ecosystem assessments to support strategic decisions. The third course applies these insights to organizational strategy, covering business-level, corporate-level, network-level strategies, diversification, internationalization, strategic entrepreneurship, business model innovation, reconfiguration, and strategic renewal. Learners progress logically from understanding core concepts to analyzing markets and resources, culminating in the application of strategies to drive organizational transformation. By the end, participants gain a coherent understanding of strategic management and the ability to evaluate, design, and implement strategic initiatives in complex business environments. This Specialization is based on the book, Strategic Management, by Henk W. Volberda, Rick M. A. Hollen, Joana R. Pereira, Jatinder S. Sidhu, and Kevin Heij.
