This prestigious ten-month residency program in London offers a unique chance to conduct your own research project, participate in a leadership development program, and contribute to ongoing research at a world-renowned think tank.

What's the program like?

The program lasts ten months and provides a unique blend of research, leadership development, and networking opportunities. Fellows will:
  • Conduct their own research project: Fellows get to choose and design a personal research project with guidance from a Chatham House expert. This allows them to delve deep into a topic of their interest and make a real contribution to the field.
  • Participate in the Leadership Programme: This core component equips fellows with the knowledge, skills, and network they need to become future leaders. It includes workshops, seminars, coaching, and media training.
  • Contribute to ongoing research: Fellows will work alongside Chatham House research teams, applying their expertise to existing research priorities.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Chatham House Academy Fellowships:

  • Educational Background: A completed Bachelor's degree (BA) or equivalent qualification is required. Additionally, experience in conducting research is essential.

The Selection Process: Two Stages

  • Stage One: Application Review - Submit your complete application. After the deadline, all applications will be reviewed and shortlisted by a selection committee.
  • Stage Two: Interviews - Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a Zoom interview with senior Chatham House management and program representatives. Selected fellows will be notified via email after this round.
