The MCW Young Leaders Fellowship for 2024 is an international exchange program hosted in the United States, designed for young individuals worldwide. This program offers a valuable leadership opportunity to people aged 18 to 26, irrespective of their backgrounds. It primarily focuses on developing management and leadership skills essential for addressing issues related to education, health, and economic security.
The MCW Young Leaders Fellowship spans a year, with a significant portion involving a 10-day visit to New York, USA in July 2024. Importantly, there are no language proficiency requirements such as IELTS or TOEFL.
This fellowship is open to Bachelor, Master, and PhD students and encourages participants to conceive innovative ideas for community improvement. More detailed information is provided below.
Commencement of the MCW Young Leaders Fellowship Program:
One-Month Virtual Assessment: The program kicks off with an intensive phase of community mapping and needs assessment. Young leaders will be equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to evaluate their communities.
In-Person Component in the USA (10 days): Young Leaders will journey to the United States in July 2024 for a 10-day experience. Participants should arrive with a specific community issue they aim to address during the fellowship.
Virtual Project Implementation: Upon returning from the United States, participants will put their ideas into action and execute them in their respective communities.
Location of the Young Leaders Fellowship in the USA: The 2024 Young Leaders Fellowship will be hosted in New York, New York, and Burlington, Vermont, during the period from July 9 to July 18, 2024.
