In a bid to foster global educational exchange, the Indonesian Government is offering the fully financed KNB Scholarships to international students. The scholarships, provided by Kemitraan Negara Berkembang, are available for undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral studies. The scholarship package includes a settlement allowance, a monthly living allowance, and monthly health insurance.
The KNB Scholarship, administered by the Ministry of Education and Culture’s Directorate General of Higher Education, has been awarded to 1,290 individuals from 94 different nations since 2008. This initiative plays a significant role in bolstering Indonesian higher education institutions' global competitiveness and international reputation.
The scholarship program spans a wide array of academic disciplines, including Humanities, Engineering, Science, Social Science, and various specializations in Education. Successful recipients will enjoy numerous benefits, including a round-trip international airfare from their home country to Indonesia and local transport to the host university.
To be eligible, applicants must demonstrate proficiency in English and meet age and academic qualifications specific to their level of study. The application process involves obtaining a recommendation letter from the Indonesian Embassy, completing the online application, and participating in the selection process.
