    • Current undergraduate students must be on track to complete all degree requirements before August 1 of their Schwarzman Scholars enrollment year.
  2. Field of Study:

    • No specific field of undergraduate study is required. Applicants from all academic disciplines are welcome.
    • However, candidates should illustrate how participation in the program will contribute to their leadership development within their chosen field.
  3. Age Requirement:

    • Candidates must be at least 18 years old but not yet 29 years old as of August 1 of their Schwarzman Scholars enrollment year.
  4. English Language Proficiency:

    • Strong English language skills are necessary as all teaching will be conducted in English.
    • Applicants whose native language isn't English must submit official English proficiency test scores.
    • Acceptable test options include TOEFL PBT (minimum score 600), TOEFL iBT (minimum score 100), or IELTS (minimum score 7).
    • The English proficiency requirement is waived for:
      • Applicants who graduated from an undergraduate institution where English was the primary language of instruction for at least two years of their academic program.
      • Candidates who have studied in English for two or more years at a Master's degree level or higher.
