Students undertake a substantial independent research project under the guidance of at least two experienced academic supervisors. In addition to their research, participants will engage in professional development activities and coursework units designed to enhance their competencies for impactful careers in academia, industry, or government. The program culminates in the completion of a research thesis that significantly contributes to the field.

Entry Requirements

Applicants are expected to possess a bachelor's degree of at least four years in a relevant discipline, which includes a research thesis or project, achieving a minimum overall average grade equivalent to Second Class Honours Division A. Alternatively, a master's degree in a relevant discipline with a research thesis or project equivalent to at least 25% of one year of full-time study, also with a minimum overall average grade equivalent to Second Class Honours Division A, is acceptable. Equivalent qualifications or relevant professional experience may also be considered by the Graduate Research Committee.

English proficiency must be demonstrated through one of the following tests:

• TOEFL iBT: Minimum score of 79
• PTE Academic: Minimum score of 58
• IELTS: Minimum score of 6.5
