Entry Requirements

Applicants must hold a relevant master's degree or possess equivalent research experience. Specific standardized test scores or GPA requirements are not mandated for this program.

International applicants must demonstrate English proficiency through one of the following:

• TOEFL iBT: Minimum score of 94
• IELTS: Minimum score of 7.0

To qualify for selection into the Higher Degrees by Research (HDR) program, candidates must have completed a research project equivalent to at least 25% of a year’s full-time study at Level 8 or 9 of the Australian Qualifications Framework, achieving a grade of 70% or higher.

Upon completion of your PhD, you may be eligible for a post-study work permit in Australia, allowing you to work in the country for a designated period, depending on your qualifications and visa conditions.
