About the Program

The Doctor of Philosophy in Biology and Chemistry at the Institute for Frontier Materials (IFM) provides an exceptional platform for students to engage in pioneering research under the mentorship of seasoned faculty members. Each student will be paired with a primary supervisor from the academic staff, complemented by associate supervisors to enrich their research journey.

Students are required to meet attendance expectations and will undertake a substantial thesis project that encapsulates their research findings in their selected area of study. Incoming students will be introduced to potential supervisors to facilitate the development of research projects aligned with their interests.
