The Asian Languages and Cultures program at Northwestern University offers students the opportunity to achieve advanced proficiency in an Asian language, including Chinese, Hindi-Urdu, Japanese, or Korean. Applicants are generally required to submit the Common Application or apply through the Coalition with Scoir. Essential documents include an official secondary school transcript, a school report, a counselor recommendation, and at least one teacher recommendation. SAT or ACT scores are also needed, along with proof of English language proficiency for those whose first language is not English or who have not completed secondary education in English.
