Professional training pathway (from year 3)

Starting in the third year, students enter a structured clinical training program that utilizes the RIME framework. Key learning environments include:

• Simulation: Practicing clinical skills in a controlled setting.
• Classroom-based clinical case discussions: Enhancing clinical reasoning through guided discussions.
• Clinical ward: Gaining supervised exposure to real clinical situations.

Through these experiences, students develop essential clinical competencies, including professional behavior, clinical skills such as history taking and physical examination, and clinical reasoning.

Entry requirements

Applicants should hold a High School Diploma obtained after at least 12 years of education. Additionally, those who possess a UK High School Diploma must achieve three A Levels or a combination of three different A Levels and Cambridge Pre-U Principal Subjects, specifically in scientific disciplines. If you are in the final year of your studies, you may also be eligible to apply.
