The Literature and Society program at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam invites students to delve into the dynamic interplay between literature, culture, and social change. Over the course of three years, students will engage in literary analysis while honing their writing and academic skills. This full-time, on-campus Bachelor’s program is delivered in English and is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of texts and visual storytelling within a global context.
The curriculum is structured to integrate core courses in literary analysis and academic skills with modules that relate texts to cultural and global phenomena. Students will also undertake writing-focused components, including creative writing.
