  • Developmental Psychopathology: Examines the developmental trajectories leading to internalizing and externalizing behavioral issues, including their underlying causes and mechanisms.
  • Forensic Child and Youth Care: Focuses on the intersections of caregiving, maltreatment, and developmental outcomes, particularly within youth justice and forensic environments.
  • Methods and Statistics: Delivers advanced methodologies and statistical techniques to study developmental phenomena and assess the effectiveness of interventions.

Typical components of the doctoral project include: formulating a research proposal, conducting the study, participating in program activities and academic training, and writing a doctoral dissertation based on original research findings.
