Entry requirements

Academic requirements

  • Degree: A UK degree, ideally with a 2:2 classification or equivalent, in Biology or a related field (such as geology, metallurgy, chemical engineering, or forensic science).
  • Consideration of other profiles: Applicants with a third-class degree may be considered if they have a completed master’s degree and/or relevant work experience.

English language requirements

  • IELTS: Overall score of 6.5 (minimum requirements may apply for individual components).
  • PTE Academic: Overall score of 70.
  • Duolingo English Test: Overall score of 120.
