Utilizing rigorous philosophical methodologies, this course culminates in a thesis that constitutes a significant portion of the final assessment, fostering independent research and in-depth exploration of ethical issues.
The MPhil program is structured around a blend of coursework and a comprehensive research thesis. Students will engage with core modules and have the opportunity to select electives that align with their interests.

Applicants with a four-year degree may be considered if they can demonstrate sufficient training in philosophy or ethics acceptable to the Department. A minimum academic average of 60% is generally required for admission.
For those with a background in health sciences, an MBChB or similar qualification may allow entry into the program with a specialization in Biomedical Ethics, provided that the qualification includes relevant ethics coursework.
