Scholarship Benefits:

The scholarship will be for 3.5 years (PhD projects) and has a stipend of $34,013 per annum (indexed annually).

Eligible Nationalities:

  1. Australian Citizens
  2. Australian Permanent Residents
  3. New Zealand Citizens
  4. Permanent Humanitarian Visa Holders
  5. International Students

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia or onshore international students who are accepted as candidates for an HDR degree at one of the host universities (the University of Adelaide or University of South Australia)

Application Procedure:

Expressions of interest should be submitted to iocr@adelaide.edu.au with IOCR Training Centre PLUS the specific HDR project number (e.g. HDR 3) of one or more of the projects in the subject heading. Please ensure you include all of the following documents:

  • evidence of Australian or New Zealand citizenship, or Australian permanent resident status, if applicable
  • degree parchments
  • academic transcripts
  • translations of non-English documentation
  • evidence of English language proficiency
  • a curriculum vitae

Short-listed applicants will be invited to an interview. Selected candidates will be invited to submit a formal application for admission. Instructions will be provided to short-listed candidates in due course.
