Scholarship Description:

MBA SME Entrepreneur and Innovator Scholarship 2023, UK. is open for International Students . The scholarship allows Masters level programm(s) in the field of Business Administration taught at University of Kent . The deadline of the scholarship is expired at 31 May 2023.

Kent Business School is excited to announce that it has two scholarships available for the SME Entrepreneur & Innovator program. These scholarships will be awarded to MBA students and will cover 25% of the tuition fees.

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must have owned and operated a successful local business for at least 5 years. They should also be interested in expanding their business and contributing positively to their local economy.

Recipients of the scholarship are expected to promote entrepreneurship by organizing an event or project in collaboration with the MBA Team. They are also expected to become student ambassadors and assist with recruitment efforts for the MBA program.

Upon graduation, scholarship recipients will become alumni ambassadors and support alumni events and recruitment activities in their home country.

Eligible Nationalities:

This scholarship is open to international students. 

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible candidates must: 

• Have run their own local business/organisation for at least a minimum of 5 years 
• Hold a UK First Class degree (or international equivalent) and/or hold substantial managerial work experience 
• Be self-funded 
• Submit a minimum 500 word statement of motivation, detailing why they should be considered for this scholarship award, demonstrating their entrepreneurial background and commitment to regional economic growth 

Awards will be considered by the Scholarship Awarding Panel. Successful candidates will be notified within one week of the panel meeting.

Application Procedure:

This scholarship can only be considered after you have submitted a formal application to study onto the MBA at Kent Business School and have received a formal offer for September 2023 entry.
