Available Scholarship Pathways

This programme supports students and doctoral researchers who wish to conduct academic research in Egypt.

Duration: 1 October 2026 – 31 January 2027

Available Places: 3

Participants will be based at the PCMA Research Centre in Cairo and work on approved research projects related to Egyptian history, archaeology, culture, or religion.

2. Archaeological Expedition Scholarship

This pathway is intended for candidates interested in participating directly in archaeological field expeditions.

Scholarship duration from 1 month to 12 months annually
Minimum stay of 28 days in Egypt for one funded month
