International Excellence Scholarship: 

This scholarship is open to international students with good academic background and show potential for further studies at Swansea University. Scholarship is awarded in a form of tuition fee discount for postgraduate studies ( up to £4000). The Deadline for International Excellence Scholarship is 31st July, 2024.

Study UK GREAT Scholarship ( For Citizens of Thailand)

In partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, Swansea University is offering one £10 000 scholarship to students from Thailand pursuing one-year postgraduate study in the UK. To meet the eligibility criteria you need to apply to study MEng, MSci, MSc, MPharm, MBBCh, MA, LLM or MRes postgraduate courses at Swansea.

Eligible Nationalities for Swansea University Scholarship:

For International Excellence Scholarships international students of all nationalities are eligible to apply while for UK GREAT Scholarship at Swansea University only Thailand Citizens are eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria for Swansea University Scholarship:

International students who have already demonstrated academic excellence or show potential to do so during their time at Swansea University are eligible for these scholarships.

English Language Requirements:

International Students need to meet certain language criteria in order to be eligible. Swansea University accepts several tests as a proof of English Proficiency that includes:

• IELTS: 6.5 (may vary by department)
• Duolingo English Test (DET): minimum score of 130 is required
• Pearson Test of English (PTE Academic): minimum score of 61

NOTE: Some departments have specific language requirements, visit official website to check your desired department's criteria.

Application Procedure for Swansea University Scholarship:

Application procedure and deadlines are different for each scholarship.

For International Excellence Scholarship (South Asia)

• Students from South Asia should only apply through the South Asia International Excellence Scholarship application form.
  
• Please note to be considered for a scholarship, you must already hold an offer to study with Swansea University. 

• Remember, you need to include transcripts of previous studies, so we can process your application without delays.

• The deadline is 1st July, 2024.

For International Excellence Scholarship (China)

• Students from China should only apply through the International Excellence Scholarship Form (RoW PG) 24/25  Or please complete the International Excellence Form China September 2024 and return to Swansea.
• The deadline is 31st July, 2024.

For International Excellence Scholarship (Rest of the World)

• Only one application will be considered through the International Excellence Scholarship Form (RoW) 24/25 

• The deadline is 31s July 2024
