The Bryce Bequest Alexander And Dixon Scholarships are offered by the University of Sydney. This scholarship was made by the late Professor John Cameron Bryce in memory of Professor Peter Alexander. The scholarship is aimed to support exceptional MLitt students in any of the taught programs in English Literature.

All applicants who wish to be considered for an Alexander and Dixon Scholarship should send a brief CV (1 page) and a statement (2 pages max) for the attention of the English Literature Convenor for Taught Postgraduate Programmes (currently Dr Matthew Sangster).
The submitted documents should detail the your past record and academic achievements; discuss why you wish to pursue postgraduate studies at Glasgow; and explain how an Alexander and Dixon Scholarship would assist you in realising your ambitions.
Emails should be headed 'Application: Alexander and Dixon Scholarship - [APPLICANT NAME]'. Applications should be sent to [email protected]. The deadline is the third Sunday in July each year (19th July for 2020).
