University of Sheffield UK Siddall Sheffield Scholarship 2026 (Fully Funded)
The Siddall Sheffield Scholarship is a prestigious fully funded UK Master’s scholarship offered by the University of Sheffield for academically outstanding US students pursuing a one-year Master’s degree in Engineering. This highly competitive award covers 100% of tuition fees and provides a generous living stipend, allowing recipients to focus entirely on their academic and research goals in the United Kingdom.
Funded through a generous endowment by Dr Graham Siddall and Mrs Brenda Siddall, this scholarship supports future engineering leaders who demonstrate innovation, academic excellence, and a commitment to community development.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a US citizen
- Must have studied previously in the United States
- Must be a non-UK resident and not have lived in the UK long-term
- Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field before arriving in the UK
- Must have a strong academic record (preferred GPA of 3.7 or above)
- Must receive an offer for a one-year full-time Master’s programme in Engineering at the University of Sheffield
- Must be self-funded and classified as an overseas student
- Must not be in receipt of any other sponsored or external funding
Application Procedure

- Secure support from a member of academic staff in your chosen department for your research proposal

- 500-word civic engagement essay
