UOWD Undergraduate Academic Scholarships, UAE 2016

University of Wollongong Dubai is offering outstanding academic excellence scholarship for students of all nationalities. These scholarships are available for new (entry level) students to pursue undergraduate programme. The scholarship covers around 15% – 50% of tuition fees each semester. The application deadline for spring 2016 is 28 January 2016.

Eligibility:

1. Applications are open to students of any citizenship.


2. Applications are open to new (entry level) students.


3. Applicants must have achieved the minimum grades as listed in the Curriculum table below.


4. Applicants must meet all of the academic and admission criteria to be admitted to the University and be intending to enroll in the relevant session for which they have applied.

Eligible Nationalities: Scholarship is open to students of any citizenship.

Scholarship Benefit: Scholarship covers 15% – 50% of tuition fees each semester. The scholarship does not include textbooks, excursions, accommodation, living expenses or any other costs involved in undertaking study. Three categories of scholarship are available to undergraduate students: 50% scholarship, 25% scholarship and 15% scholarship.

Selection Criteria: In order to retain this Scholarship, undergraduate students must meet the following criteria:

• Minimum grade Distinction “D” in all but one subject (with no less than Credit “C” grade); except in Summer, where if enrolled in less than 3 subjects, Distinction “D” grade is required


• Enrolment in a minimum of 3 subjects in Autumn and Spring


• Scholarship holders failing to meet the above requirements will no longer be entitled to retain their scholarship and will therefore have to pay the relevant tuition fees in order to continue their studies.

Application Procedure for UOWD Undergraduate Academic Scholarships

Application Procedure: If student would like to apply for any of the UOWD Scholarships, they should submit an Application for Scholarship form, along with supporting documentation relevant to your chosen Scholarship (academic transcripts, completion certificate(s), awards, referee reports, alumni ID, as appropriate) to the Registrar’s Department. Applications must be received by the closing date and submitted via the Scholarship Form.
