This initiative aims to fortify cooperation with ASEAN countries, providing students from Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Singapore, Brunei, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, and Cambodia with unparalleled access to higher education in Türkiye.

ASEAN - Turkey Government Scholarship 2024 for International Students. (Fully Funded) is available to undertake Masters, Research level programs at Turkey Universities.

Scholarship Benefits:

Master’s Degree Programme Details:

• Duration: 1-year Turkish Language Preparation Course + 2-year academic study

• Coverage: University and Program Placement, Monthly Stipend (TL 5,000), University Tuition Fee, Turkish Language Course (1 Year), Accommodation, Health Insurance, One-off Flight Ticket (Prior to Study and After Completion of Study)

Language Course Details:

• Duration: 8-10 months

• Institutions Covered: Ankara University, Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University, Gazi University

• Coverage: Monthly Stipend (TL 3,500), Turkish Language Course (8-10 months), Accommodation, Health Insurance, One-off Flight Ticket (Prior to Study and After Completion of Study)

Research Scholarship Details:

• Duration: 3-12 months

• Coverage: Monthly Stipend (TL 8,000)

• Universities Covered: All universities in Türkiye

Eligible Nationalities:

Open for international students of Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Singapore, Brunei, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, and Cambodia.

Eligibility Criteria:

To qualify for the Türkiye Scholarships - ASEAN Joint Scholarship Programme, candidates need to meet the following criteria:

1. Citizenship: Applicants must be citizens of an ASEAN country.

2. Master’s and Language Courses:

   • Candidates must be under the age of 30.
   • For Master's programs, a minimum academic achievement rate of 75% is required.
   • For Language Courses, a minimum academic achievement rate of 70% is necessary.

3. Research Scholarship:

   • Applicants should be under the age of 50.
   • They must be enrolled in or have completed a doctorate program.
   • A certificate of research acceptance from a Turkish university is mandatory for research applicants.

Application Procedure:

Application Details:

• Master’s Degree and Language Courses: Applications are accepted through the Türkiye Scholarships Information System (https://tbbs.turkiyeburslari.gov.tr/) from January 10 to February 20, 2024.

• Research Scholarships: Applications can be submitted throughout the year 2024 via the same system.
