Barcelona Graduate School of Economics Spain Announces Scholarships for 2024

The Barcelona Graduate School of Economics (Barcelona GSE) has officially opened applications for its scholarship program for the academic year 2024-2025. This fully funded master's scholarship is available to both international and domestic students.

The scholarship program aims to support outstanding students who have demonstrated their potential to excel in Barcelona GSE's rigorous and intensive master's programs. The most exceptional applicants may receive financial support that covers either all or part of their tuition fees. This merit-based financial assistance is made possible through the generosity of both public and private sponsors, as well as the resources of the Barcelona GSE itself.

• The scholarship offers tuition fee waivers of up to 100%.
• A limited number of fully funded scholarships are available.
• Financial aid is awarded based on academic excellence, with waivers available for 100%, 75%, 50%, and 25% of tuition fees.
• The Barcelona GSE is an independent institution dedicated to research and graduate education, offering a diverse range of master's programs in Economics, Finance, and Data Science.
• Every year, the institution allocates an average of 800,000€ in merit-based funding to master's students, with approximately 36% of enrolled students receiving full or partial financial support.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Proficiency in English.
• Open to international students from developing countries.
• Hold an undergraduate/bachelor/grado/laurea, or equivalent degree from an accredited college or university.
• A background in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Business Administration is preferred.
• Advanced level of English language skills, with a TOEFL score of 90 or higher or an IELTS Academic Test score of 6.5 or higher.

Interested candidates are encouraged to gather their application materials, which include undergraduate transcripts, diploma, passport copy, CV, statement of purpose, proof of English language proficiency, and optionally, GRE General Test scores. Two reference letters are also required. The application process is conducted online, with an application fee of 60€.
