Currently, the programme is open to citizens from selected countries: Australia, Japan, Canada, South Korea, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Northern Ireland, the United States, and Taiwan. Eligible applicants can submit their applications for residence permits at the Czech Republic's embassies abroad. The applications will be processed within 45 days from the date of submission. Additionally, family members of programme participants can also apply for a residence permit.

Supplemental Initiative for Indonesian Workers: In addition to the digital nomad programme, the Czech Republic has approved a labour migration pilot project for Indonesians. This initiative aims to address labour shortages in specific sectors by allowing approximately 300 students from selected Indonesian polytechnic schools to work in the Czech Republic for up to two years.
