Georgia Institute of Technology is also known as Georgia Tech or simply as GT and is located in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Georgia Institute of Technology has six professional colleges and 31 academic units under its fold. The college under Georgia Institute of Technology dealing with business studies is known as College of Management or COM. College of Management, Georgia Tech was founded in the year 1934 as a public educational institute and is located within the Technology Square at West Peachtree Street in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Tech Square also houses the Global Learning Center, Economic Development Institute, Center for Quality Growth & Regional Development, Georgia Tech Hotel and the Advanced Technology Development Center. The Georgia Tech College of Management offers both undergraduate and post graduate degree programs. The College enrolls on an average nearly 1250 undergraduate students and 260 post graduates. The College of Management also has the state of the art Ferris Goldsmith Trading Floor which offers the Quantitative and Computational Finance program. The academic programs on offer by the College of Management include – the undergraduate degree program, Bachelor of Science in Management, post graduate degree programs such as full time Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, Evening MBA degree program, Executive MBA in Management of Technology degree program, Global Executive MBA degree program, Executive education programs and the PhD degree. Full time MBA program of the College consists of fourteen core courses and eight electives. There is also an optional summer internship for students. The average GMAT score for applicants for the full time MBA program is 684 (minimum 630 and maximum 720). The full time MBA degree program charges a tuition fee of $22000 from Georgia residents and $33700 from non residents. Classes for full time MBA program usually start in the month of August. Evening MBA program is for working professionals and applications are accepted for the Spring and Fall semesters. The average working experience of the students of the Evening MBA program is six years and the course is offered from the Jones MBA Career Center. The College of Management also offers many dual degree programs for students in management. Global Executive MBA and the Executive MBA in Management of Technology programs are of seventeen months duration each. Executive Education programs at the Georgia Tech College of Management are offered through the Huang Executive Education center.
