The Engineering Materials Master of Engineering (MEng) program at the University of Windsor is a comprehensive, course-based graduate degree aimed at enhancing your expertise in material selection, characterization, and performance relevant to various engineering applications. What you'll study

Students in this program will complete a total of eight graduate-level courses, focusing on both major and foundational engineering subjects. The curriculum includes:

• Total Courses: 8 graduate courses (thesis is not required)
• Major Courses: 4 courses specifically related to materials engineering
• Required Engineering Foundation Courses: 4 foundational courses, which may include:
  • Computational Methods and Modeling for Engineering Applications
  • Engineering Technical Communications
  • Engineering Mathematics
  • Engineering Project Management

Additionally, there is an optional co-op pathway available, allowing students to gain practical experience during their studies. Students interested in this opportunity must apply during their first term.

Entry requirements

To be considered for admission to the Engineering Materials MEng program, applicants must meet the following academic criteria:

• Minimum Academic Background: A recognized undergraduate degree in engineering (such as BASc, BSc, BEng, or equivalent) with a minimum average of 70% over the last four years.
• Academic Standing: Applicants should not have more than three failures, resits, or backlogs during their undergraduate studies.
• International Applicants: Candidates who completed their degree in India may be required to submit backlog certificates or individual mark sheets as specified by the admissions office.
