What you'll study

The course spans three years of full-time study, culminating in a BEng (Hons) degree. The curriculum is structured to build foundational knowledge in engineering while progressively introducing specialized topics in aerospace satellite engineering.

• Year 1: Focuses on engineering mathematics, foundational science principles, materials and manufacturing processes, electronics, and computer programming.
• Year 2: Covers core satellite systems, engineering design, and applied project work, enhancing skills in electronics, computing, and engineering analysis.
• Year 3: Involves advanced modules in satellite engineering and integration, alongside a capstone project that emphasizes mission concepts and subsystem design. Opportunities for placement or study abroad may also be available.

Entry requirements

To be eligible for this program, applicants should have:

• 96 to 112 Tariff Points from acceptable Level 3 qualifications (such as A-levels, T Levels, BTEC Diplomas, Scottish/Irish Highers, or International Baccalaureate).
• A-level Mathematics and another analytical science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Computer Sciences, Physics, or Technology), or recognized equivalents.
• Minimum grades in Maths and English Language at grade 4/C or an equivalent.

International applicants must meet English language requirements, typically evidenced by a minimum IELTS (Academic) score of 5.5 overall, with no component lower than 5.5.
