Entry requirements

To be eligible for the Midwifery Studies (Hons) program, applicants should possess acceptable Level 3 qualifications through UCAS, amounting to a minimum of 120 UCAS Tariff points from recognized qualifications such as A-levels, BTEC Diplomas, or the International Baccalaureate. Additionally, candidates must have achieved a minimum grade of 4/C in Maths, English Language, and a Science subject.

Applicants are also required to meet English language proficiency standards, typically evidenced by an IELTS score of 7.0 overall, with minimum scores in individual components. An interview is part of the selection process, and candidates must undergo a DBS Enhanced Certificate check and a health assessment to ensure suitability for the program and compliance with NMC registration requirements.
