The USC Division of Film and Television Production MFA prepares you to create original, screen-ready work across film and television formats. You’ll develop professional-level skills in directing, writing, producing, and production craft through studio-style coursework and collaborative projects. Curriculum requirements: The MFA requires a minimum of 52 units in Cinematic Arts at the 400 or 500 level, with at least 35 units at the 500 level. A thesis is not required for the MFA degree.
