What you'll study

The program encompasses four years of undergraduate education followed by four years of medical school. During the undergraduate phase, students are required to complete general education courses alongside their major coursework, with an emphasis on laboratory sciences that meet pre-med expectations. The undergraduate majors eligible for this program include:

  • Biological Sciences
  • Chemistry (BA only)
  • Biomedical Engineering (four-year program only)

Students must maintain their academic standing and complete all required coursework to uphold their provisional early acceptance into medical school. Upon fulfilling all requirements, students transition seamlessly into medical school, where they will engage in specialized medical coursework as determined by the affiliated medical institution.

Academic requirements

  • Minimum GPA: 3.5 on a 4.0 weighted scale (subject to change)
  • SAT: combined Evidence-based Reading and Writing + Math minimum of 1420
  • ACT: minimum composite score of 31
  • High school science preparation: completion of four years of laboratory science, including biology, chemistry, and physics
  • Standardized tests: SAT Subject Tests are strongly recommended, especially in scientific disciplines

English requirements

  • TOEFL iBT: minimum score of 79
  • IELTS: minimum score of 6.5

General requirements

  • Submission of the Common Application or Coalition Application along with all required documents
  • Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident seeking first-year admission
  • Applicants must be on track to graduate from an accredited American high school
