Established in 2014 by Andrew and Nicola Forrest through the Minderoo Foundation, the Forrest Research Foundation aims to propel Western Australia into a world-class center of research and innovation by attracting outstanding intellects to the region.

The Forrest Research Foundation Research Fellowships aim to attract and support exceptional early-career post-doctoral researchers to conduct high-quality research at five prestigious universities in Western Australia, namely:

Eligibility Criteria for Forrest Research Foundation Australia Fellowship:

To be eligible for the Forrest Research Foundation Post-doctoral Fellowships, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Language Requirement: Proficiency in English is mandatory.
  • Candidates must be in the final year of their PhD studies or have completed their PhD no more than two years ago.
  • Successful applicants are required to reside at Forrest Hall throughout the Fellowship duration.
