The Eiffel Scholarship Program consists of two main parts:
The master's component provides financial support for a duration of 12 to 36 months, enabling scholarship recipients to pursue and complete a master's degree program.
The doctoral component offers funding for international mobility ranging from 6 to 36 months, as outlined in the following details.
The Eiffel Scholarship Program was established under the auspices of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Its primary aim is to assist French higher education institutions in attracting outstanding international students to their master's and doctoral programs. The overarching goal is to prepare future leaders and decision-makers from around the world in both the public and private sectors, focusing on key areas of study and research.
French universities and research institutions that put forward candidates for the Eiffel program pledge to accept these candidates into:
• A master's degree program officially recognized by the French government.
• An accredited engineering program.
• A collaborative doctoral program (involving joint dissertation supervision and/or a dual degree arrangement) in cooperation with an international higher education institution.
The Eiffel Scholarship Program encompasses two major academic domains, encompassing the following areas of study:

Humanities and Social Sciences
Note: Tuition and fees are not covered by the Eiffel program for master's or doctoral studies.
This scholarship is open to international students of all nationalities.
The eligibility criteria for the France Excellence Eiffel Scholarship Program 2024 are as follows:
In addition to the above criteria, applicants must also be nominated by a French higher education institution. This means that you must contact a French university directly to see if they are willing to nominate you for the scholarship.
Contact the Campus France office in your country of origin or the Cooperation and Culture Office of the French Embassy; both can advise you about your study plans. Contact the French educational institution or research organization by visiting its website or by emailing or telephoning its office of international relations to learn how to apply for admission (including the date by which your application must be received). Inform them of your wish to be considered for an Eiffel scholarship. It is your responsibility to choose the school or university that best suits your plans to study or conduct research in France. All French institutions of higher education can nominate candidates for Eiffel scholarships.
The educational institution accepts and supports your application for the Eiffel scholarship. The institution files your application online using Campus France’s dedicated website. Applications submitted directly by students or by institutions outside France will not be accepted.
