Eligibility Criteria:

• The online web application system is exclusively for students enrolled in undergraduate or master's level programs. Students pursuing a PhD or MPhil degree are not eligible for the Diya Scholarship, except for those directly pursuing an MPhil after completing their graduation. MPhil programs after completing M.A/MSc/MS degrees are not eligible for the scholarship. Additionally, applications from students at the school level and intermediate level will not be accepted through the web-based system.
• Talented and deserving students at the intermediate level or school level should apply for the scholarship through their respective schools or institutes. Diya Pakistan currently provides scholarships only to students in government institutes. The institute will contact the Diya Pakistan office for detailed procedures.
• Students receiving scholarships exceeding Rs. 25,000 per annum from other organizations are not eligible for the Diya Scholarship. It is required that students have secured a minimum of 60% marks at all levels.
• For first-time applicants, the process involves filling out the online scholarship application and uploading the necessary scanned documents as mentioned below. The review of applications, along with the scans, may take approximately 30 to 45 days. Applicants can check the status of their application on a weekly basis through the website. The application status can be updated as Clarify, Incomplete, Complete, Not Accepted, or Approved.
• After approval, a cheque will be dispatched to the student's institute within 10 to 30 days. Upon verification, the cheque will be handed over to the student or adjusted towards their institute fees. The cheque can be encashed at any Meezan Bank branch by presenting the original NIC card and providing a copy of the NIC to the bank.
• The scholarship is paid on a fiscal yearly basis from 1st July xx to 30th June xx. Students may apply for renewal the following year if their course continues.

It is important to note that students who had their previous applications marked as "Not Accepted" or who provided fake/modified/cut-paste documents or information are not eligible to apply again under any circumstances. If there are any issues regarding the submission of required documents, it is advised to provide an explanation.
