Scholarship Description:

Humanitarian Scholarship,The University of Dundee 2020/21 is open for Refugee Students . The scholarship allows Masters level program(s) in the field of Anatomy, Forensic science, Architecture, Urban Planning, Art and Design, Biomedical Sciences, Biological Sciences, Accountancy, Economics, Finance, International Business Management, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, dentistry, Education, electronic engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Geography, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Medicine, Health Sciences, Nursing, Philosophy, Psychology, International Relations, Politics, Social Work taught at University of Dundee . The deadline of the scholarship is expired at 31 Mar 2020.

The University works closely with the Scottish Refugee Council and the University of Sanctuary in order to support students who want to pursue a Master's programme at Dundee.

This year, we are offering 8 applicants the opportunity to study with us. This is available to 1 year postgraduate taught programmes and can be in any of our Schools. The Scholarship will provide a full tuition fee waiver for the year of study, plus a monthly stipend and accommodation costs.

Scholarship Benefits:

The scholarship will provide:

  • the total value is up to £38,500

Eligible Nationalities:

students with refugee status are eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants who are eligible to apply for this scholarship will be invited to apply by the University. In order to be considered, applicants must:

  • Hold an academic offer of entry for a postgraduate taught programme in any of our academic schools, beginning in September 2020 or January 2021. The programe must be a full 180 credit, 12 month programme.
  • Have Refugee Status or Humanitarian Protection, recognised by the 1951 UN Convention on the Status of Refugees.

Application Procedure:

  • should have a secured admission in a postgraduate program as mentioned in subjects.
  •  there is a separate application form which must be completed in order to be considered for this scholarship.
  • The University will identify candidates who are eligible to apply and an application form will be emailed to those applicants.
  • The deadline to submit the application form and any supporting evidence is the 31st March 2020.
