Types of Chinese Government Scholarships at Zhejiang University
1. Type A – Bilateral Program
The Type A Bilateral Program is established by China’s Ministry of Education (MOE) in cooperation with foreign governments, universities, or international organizations. It supports:

Key Points:
Applicants must apply through the dispatching authorities in their home countries (e.g., Chinese Embassies).
Zhejiang University does not accept direct applications for Type A.

Postgraduate (Master’s & PhD): November 15, 2025 – February 28, 2026
2. Type B – Chinese University Program
The Type B Scholarship is a fully funded program under the China Scholarship Council (CSC), designed for full-time postgraduate students. It provides full tuition coverage, accommodation, living allowance, and medical insurance.

Eligibility Criteria
Must meet Zhejiang University’s admission requirements for undergraduate or postgraduate programs.
Obtain a non-criminal record certificate issued within 6 months of application.
Complete the Foreigner Physical Examination Form (valid for 6 months).
Open to international students of all nationalities.
Additional for Type A Postgraduate Applicants:
Obtain the Form for Provisional Acceptance by a ZJU supervisor (except certain programs like Enterprise Management).
Application Procedure
Type A – Bilateral Program
Apply through your home country’s dispatching authorities (Chinese Embassy or authorized office).
Select Zhejiang University as your preferred university.
Complete the Zhejiang University International Student Application System pre-admission notice.
Submit your pre-admission notice to support the CSC scholarship application.
Important: Pre-admission notice is not an official admission letter.
Type B – Chinese University Program
Submit application via the CSC Online Application System (Agency number: 10335 for Zhejiang University).
Download and complete the Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship.
Upload additional required documents online, including:
Foreigner Physical Examination Form
Non-Criminal Record Certificate
Pay the non-refundable application fee: RMB 800
Shortlisted applicants undergo video interviews conducted by academic schools.
Final awardees will be notified by end of July or early August 2026.
